I know someone who lost a J122 just buy running aground on sand in the intracostal waterway...and a J40 with the same issue. Both hit slightly the keel cracked off ans she went down...shew...

@MegaCantata Sorry bro - somebody doesn't have their facts straight. First, J35's don't have sprits - this one clearly does. Second, J35's only have two windows in the cabin top - this has three, and third they don't have 'almost' plumb bows like this little beauty. I've been around plenty of J35's... this isn't one of them.

This is also a brand new boat. They stopped making J35's in 1992. I'd re-title your video... It's a J122... trust me.

@cmlambpsi OK, I've done some research in the other stuff published at the time - that all says it's a J133, would you settle for that? The owner deffo told me on the day that she was a 35 but there you go.

@MegaCantata No. The dead giveaway is the 1.) sliver vent fan on the forward hatch, and 2) the fact that the 122 comes with two small hatches forward of the mast. 133's done come with those... they only have one hatch. Check out your video at :48 and you can clearly see what I see. Then head to the Jboats site and look at the photos of the 122... it's plain as day. Sorry your buddy led you astray. It's a terrible sight.... the video, that is...

@cmlambpsi OK, upon your head be it! It certainly was a terrible sight, as a boat owner myself it almost brought me to tears. I've lived near this beach for years, and I've seen a lot of boats die on it.
