How about this? Allow a Flex Plan that WILL Carry Over from one year to the next. Use it or lose it is unfair to honest users. Its tax free and yet you will have to use it for medical purposes . The money stays in a prerequisite escrow, perhaps, a local bank account. FAR FAR away from the government's grasp! (-see social security debacle-) We need the freedom and flexibility, yet, be able to avoid private abuse with stiff penalties.
to rhyssq and jamescaird, and we DONT buy expensive clothes, we DONT buy anything expensive not like we can anyway or even could before. ive always lived poor, its all ive ever known. we've always lived within our means sometimes below it. but were not living at all, just existing, or more like scraping by living day by day. again my mom doesnt have insurance. she pays for MINE, bless her altho i told her i dont need it, she wont budge. bless her. and its the cheapest one too.
The problem with the 'way of Obama' is that everyone is becoming more and more dependent on the government. that is not a good thing. This country is still the land of opportunity. Take advantage of that before it is too late. I suggest you go to the library (where the books are free) and read everything you can get your hands on about finance, staring you own business, whatever interests you. you do not have a job, well you have plenty of time then. Educate yourself.!!!
okay i did not even mention obama or say anything about the issues or that i dont support this or that. and what do you think im doing here. im a big fan of ron paul and this vid is GREAT. i love it. i do educate myself thru internet and at college. ive been sending petitions to my congressmen about to vote 4 audit the fed, and AGAINST the healthcare bill their pushing cos i KNOW i culd be homeless cos of that = taxes. AGAIN, please DONT assume about me. as for my own business = $ i dont have.
exactly. my comments to him and the other person are very similar to what your trying to say. they have to remember we live in a society where there's a mixing pot of many different cultures, ideas, beliefs, mind sets, people from other countries who come here for an opportunity and after 30 yrs, still cant have that "american dream" which doesnt exist any way for americans either.
and we dont depend on the government either. we were denied food stamps. yes, yes, we shouldnt depend on govt whatever but when u need help, u take it where u can get it. and what about the immigrants. those whose first language isnt english and werent educated here like my mom? and had no one to guide them to do this or do that. and education is expensive for them, and financial aid was harder to come by in the 80s-90s i bet. so again, dont assume cos it makes an ass out of u and me.
of america, there's homeless people, and people on the poverty line and below the poverty line. my mom makes less than 20,000$ a yr. i just thank God she doesnt make any less. the other day she couldnt afford toilet paper so my aunt bought her some. please dont assume, cos u dont actually know what others may go thru. and yes ive applied zillions of times, no call backs. no interviews. i was laid off 4 months ago. and my dad died last yr. so please dont assume what u think u may know. thanks
first of all we dont eat out. second of all, i dont have a job. i live in a one room apartment with my mom, and she only makes 11$ an hours plus travels a lot for her job in her car. we cant cancel the cable cos we just installed it in june so then they'd charge cancellation fees or w/e. we cant afford food, or dog food. my doesnt have insurance we dont go to the doc a lot. we cant afford healthy foods anyway cos its more expensive than junk food. u have to realize even in "the great land" of
