@Skylerscream belive it or not emg passive pickups are nice man i mean like a emg 81 sounds exactly the same in a plywood guitar and in an alder guitar with passive pickups you can really hear the difference in tone and shit like that ill go for passives with laihos boost

emg actives do make a huge diff compared to passive.....way more sustain and punch...but you still need to be able to play.... period....
