  • Hey 21slim50, glad you found it helpful the toughest part of learning final cut is managing your files. I have posted other Final Cut tech tips so take a look at them as you begin to master this program. My suggestion for setting your scratch disks is simplified in this video and can get messy if you have more than one project on your drive so create folders to keep things neater and more manageable, you'll get the hang of it over time.   • Problems with my external hard-drive?

    i just brought a SUMOdisk External 500Gb 3.5in Hard Disk Drive and on the maual it says its easy and quick but for me it is not.When i go to my computer it shows it as a usb port and i cant even open it becasue it says please insert a disc drive into drive E???? i dont get that and when i go to my computer managment and then disc management it is supposed to be in disc 1 but it is not there.
