Dr. Pranabes Sanyal says that global warming, by raising sea level, is causing salinity to increase in parts of the Sunderbans islands in India. Royal Bengal Tigers and other plants animals are changing their habitats as a result. Sanyal is a visiting faculty member of Jadavpur University in Calcutta, India. He is also president of the Calcutta Wildlife Society. Previously, he worked for the India Forest Service for 38 years, including a 6-year position as field director of Sundarban Tiger Reserve. This video was shot in November 2008 by Daniel Grossman.
