I've been requested to show some gameplay in Puzzle De Pon!, and here we go.
I didn't record all the levels (there are 39) because of the 10 minutes limit, but this is something, at least.
I know I'm not very good at this game, I hope you can like this video anyway. Note that sometimes I keep on shooting bubbles in the same place, since each time I delete three I get 3000 points, and gets easily higher than the time bonus.

This is from Puzzle De Pon! R! and not from the original game.

Enjoy.

  • This game is totally not a rip-off of Bust-A-Move! BTW, I'm being sarcastic.

  • Actually, this game came out a couple of years before Bust-A-Move (aka Puzzle Bobble). Think of it as a "test revision" made by Taito to see if people could be interested in a game like this. Since the feedback was good, Taito decided to use the dragons from Bubble Bobble and produced the Bust-A-Move series.

  • play the whole thing next time

  • Not possible, there is a 10 minutes limit here on Youtube.

  • @SladenDeadProduction Well, actually this game was DEVELOPED BY VISCO and LICENSED BY TAITO, so it qualifies as a "legal copy" (Visco paid for the rights to copy it).

  • How can it be a copy when it's the same company?

  • "Cancer get!"

    :( :( :(

  • This game actually came out in 1995 just after Bust-A-Move.

  • The way this game copies the "Ready.... GO!" on Bust-a-Move is just lame...

  • I thought Puzzle de Pon came out three years after Taito's Puzzle Bobble, as the latter came out in 1994.
