Camp Rock: The Second Summer Chapter 2

*At School in the last period*
Mitchie: Hey Sierra?
Sierra: Yeah?
Mitchie: Do you believe in love at first sight?
Sierra: *stares at Jeremy, the school hottie* Yes. I do.
Mitchie: *doesn't notice* Really?! So I'm not alone!!! YAY!
Sierra: Are you talking about Shane?
Mitchie: YES!! But, I don't 'love' him. Well...at least, not yet.
Sierra: What are you going to do if you can't go this summer?
Mitchie: I don't know. But Mom said she would talk to Dad. Maybe I can go.
Sierra: *looks skeptical and says sarcastically* Yeah...okay.
Mitchie: *notices sarcasm* I am just trying to stay positive!
Sierra: I know.
*Last bell rings! YAY!*
Sierra and Mitchie: Xin Xia Xi!!!
They laugh and run to their lockers, throw everything in their lockers into their backpacks and run to Mitchie's house.
Mitchie: Hey, Mom. Sierra is going to sleepover tonight.
Connie: That's good. Then she can help you pack.
Mitchie: *looks at her mother* What do you mean?
Connie: You're going to Camp Rock!!!
Mitchie: *screams and runs to Sierra. They jump and hug and scream and talk excitedly.*
Mitchie's dad walks in and sees Mitchie and Sierra celebrating.
Dad: I guess you told them.
Mitchie: YES!! OH MY GOSH!! THANK YOU!!!
Mitchie runs and hugs her 'rents.
Dad: Whoa. Deja vu.
Mitchie: Haha. Very funny. Well bye!!
Parents: Bye!!
Mitchie and Sierra run up to her room.
Connie: When should we tell her she doesn't have to-
Dad: Shh...she might still be listening.
Connie: Okay. I will be quiet as long as you are quiet.

Meanwhile...
Mitchie: OHMYGOSH!! Can you believe this is happening?!?!
Sierra: NO!! I am sooo happy for you!!!
They hug. Cute.
Mitchie: Want to listen to all of the songs that I heard from the other campers last year?
Sierra: Well...yeah...but how did you get them?
Mitchie: Caitlyn. She is my friend from camp. She always carries a pocket recorder and she used her synchronizer to make them sound really good, and she put it on a cd!
Sierra: *a bit jealous* Cool.
Mitchie: *doesn't notice* Well...LET'S LISTEN!!
Sierra: OKAY!!
*Listen to Lola's 'What it takes'
Sierra: Who is this?
Mitchie: Lola! She is another friend of mine! She is really nice and also a really good singer.
Sierra: She's good.
Mitchie nods.
Mitchie: So. I have to pack! Help me pick out amazing outfits!
Sierra: OKAY!!!
Mitchie and Sierra pack and pick out outfits until Mitchie comes on with, 'This Is Me.' Mitchie stops and listens and then starts to sing along. Sierra watches as Mitchie sings, and tried to realize how much this camp built her confidence. Mitchie stops as she heard Shane sing.
Sierra: Is that Shane?
Mitchie: *nods* Yeah.
Sierra: Promise me something.
Mitchie: What?
Sierra: Don't give this guy your whole heart.
Mitchie: what?
Sierra: You heard me. Just promise me.
Mitchie: *hesitates* I promise.
Sierra: And something else.
Mitchie: What?
Sierra: Sing at open mic night.
Mitchie: No.
Sierra: Why not? Everyone knows your good.
Mitchie: *hesitates* okay. fine.
Sierra: Yay!
Connie: Girls, it's midnight. Lights out.
Sierra and Mitchie: OKAY!!
Sierra: Hey Mitch?
Mitchie: Yeah Sierra?
Sierra: Don't get a new best friend and replace me.
Mitchie: *frowns and walks over to Sierra and stands her up* Even if I do, no one can replace you. I love you soo much. You will forever and always be my best friend.
Sierra: *hugs her tightly* Same to you, sis.
Mitchie: *hugs tightly back* Okay, sis.
Sierra and Mitchie put their hands on each other's shoulders and say,
'SISTERS FOREVER!!!!'
Connie: GO TO SLEEP!!
Mitchie and Sierra: Oops...
They giggle and fall on the bed and eventually fall asleep.

A blissful week of hanging out with Sierra has gone by, and now it was time to say goodbye.
Sierra: I'm gonna miss you!
Mitchie:I'm gonna miss you too!!
Mitchie and Sierra: I WON'T FORGET YOU!! SISTERS FOREVER!!!
They giggle and hug one last time, then Mitchie gets in the van. She waves goobye to Sierra and her dad one last time, and as they drive away, she feels a tear fall out of her eye. She wipes it away, and as she looks at her hand where it is wet, it inspires her to write a song about goodbyes. She works on it for the rest of the trip, with occasional rhyming help from her mom, (most of which she didn't use, but apprectiated the help) and when she finally looked up, she saw Camp Rock in the distance. She, of course, screams.
Connie: *jumps a little* WHAT?!
Mitchie: I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M HERE AGAIN!!
Connie: *smiles* I know. I'm proud of you.
Mitchie: For what?
Connie: For being you.
Mitchie: *smiles* Thanks Mom. You have no idea what all of this means to me.
Connie: *smiles and pulls into Camp Rock* Your welcome. Now go find your cabin!
Mitchie: What do you mean? I'm with you.
Connie: Not this time.
Mitchie: Seriously?! That is so cool!! Well...you...um...
Connie: I know what you mean. No offense taken. Now go!
Mitchie: Bye Mom!
