Use these drivers to scan if you don't have, can't install, or choose not to install the HP software. This will only allow you to scan one page at a time and the printer must be able to print from the computer (plug and play install) for these instructions to work.

I am an HP employee, but I do not represent HP on this website.

  • Depending on what you are looking for, you can scan a document as a JPG or some other picture format. If you are looking to scan a document into Windows and have it as editable text, you would have to use some form of OCR(Optical Character Recognition) software.

  • Wonderful.....now what about scanning a document and using it in Windows?
