I know! It is hard to believe this wheeler has had so many issues. I think it was dipped in salt or something :-) I think the old 86 was a much better build bike myself

Wow that's not cheap to repair. Looks like it was rusted out. Is the bike used near salt water? I see problems here in Newfoundland like that. If it were mine I'd cut my loss's and not make the repair. The rear def, the swing arm, lower engine. Oh man. To bad. Good luck with it.

After every ride on my ATV I thouroughly clean it. And while I'm cleaning every nook and cranny I take just a few seconds to check weld's and rust. I touch up any rust with rustoleum spray paint. And Thank god Ive got a 92 foreman that has only ever had a battery and carb issue. I've never even had to do bearings. not sure how many miles are on it. but I do know its on its 3rd set of tires. since new. I hope your luck improves.

if that was my job to repair i would weld it back, maybe some new steel where it broke, and put some beefy gussets on it so it will never break again.

hey m8,thanks for sending the vid to me,i have seen worse,i had 1 that came from near the sea.i think the salt water air must have rotted it,as it was really bad.keep the vids coming m8.good luck
