Microsoft has self-tuning networking which makes network much better than nix systems. a good DNS server, runs on many hardware configurations, better software and game selection. the best freeware is on Windows, and runs better on Windows. on a Pc you can overclock with most machines, more upgrading abilities with a ATX compliant mid-tower. latest and greatest is on Windows the majority of the time. Building a PC often has better quality than a mac if you spend wisely.

How about this, what if I actually WANT a computer with a design like the iMac? What if I actually WANT the Mac OS? What's better about Windows? Tell me, what makes Windows better than any *Nix OS? Alienware machines are for gamers who want a high performance rig with watercooling that gives them overhead for overclocking. Granted, real gamers build their own rigs but they're still very nice for their targeted audience. They even have motorized fans and a dynamic color changing system for the lighting.
