Here is why we should never have unemployment benefits. This is what the lazy unemployed bums in this country are doing with YOUR money. Unemployment insurance encourages laziness and is wasted only on beer and drugs. BAN IT! SAVE MONEY!

@Hello59239 yes and guessed who pushed it? oh yea, it was Speaker Newt Gingrich who had a huge republican majority in the house that time. They dragged Bill Clinton kicking and screaming. Bill Clinton thinks Gingrich is articulate. (I forgot which news station this was on).

@illinoislibertarian I agree and disagree with this...but agree for the most part... The benefits kill motivation for most people. I believe in the benefits being randomly audited and when people are caught misusing the money then they should be executed.

Yes corporations get a few tax breaks and yes they are sending jobs over seas... but only because of the cost of the unnecessary regulations and high taxes! That tax the businesses 40 - 60 % of their total income. How are they supposed to pay their bills? Our president only wants to grow government jobs.

@illinoislibertarian long story short, I got fired from my job for "missing money" from a register. Problem is, I was one of 3 people on that same shift sharing the same register... I was a manager at a subway store. This isn't even half of the story.

I'm going to get unemployment tomorrow just to piss you guys off. I was wrongfully terminated, and I still have bills to pay... been putting in at least 4 applications a day. You can fuck off if you think ALL people using unemployment are lazy.
