STEVE PRIEST ***FAN SPECIAL*** -

The Priest the whole Priest and nothing but THE PRIEST!

An awesomely powerful song sung by STEVE PRIEST -
remarkable bassist and 25% of the band SWEET.

The many incarnations of FABULOUS STEVE PRIEST are captured here in this slideshow (took me ages to do btw)
MY TRIBUTE to a beautiful fun loving man, whose birthday was on 23rd Feb - he's just turned 61.

PLEASE Steve come back over to the UK and do a gig for us - it's been so long, and we are aching to see you once again. You still have many MANY fans here (old and new) - we want to hear you caress your bass, we want to see that delicious smile, we want to see those deep soulful blue eyes. . . but most of all we want to hear (and see) you sing.
We've been deprived too long, why should the US have you all to itself?
C'MON STEVE . . . do what you do best . . belt out those tunes in old Blighty, for the home crowd. (*_*)

(oh, and a special thanks to youtube for making my video look fuzzy - it's not like that really!)

  • This song needs to be CRANKED, no sissy stereos allowed.

  • Steve really had a "look" that captured that early 70s British glam hard rock spirit.

  • Oh Steve, how can one person be so talented, hot and funny?

  • Very few bands came close to the quality vocals these guys had,and they pulled it off live just as well. One of my all-time favourites!

  • I think Steve Priest had the most fun with the fame of Sweet, seemed to laugh & joke allot. I recently read that he invited Brian to his oldest daughters wedding in 1996, and Brian attended. Brian died the next year. Great bassist, singer!

  • When Ballroom Blitz was released and I saw the non LP B-Syde Eye grabbed it! Then I turned most all of my "non-Sweet" friendz heads asking Who is that???? Fox On th'Run came next with "Burn On The Flame" and again "Who IS that??? It's Sweet stupid. Ya know, that "Bubble Gum" group you been pissin' awn?! "Give Us A Wink" burned onto my turntable and all luved it. Play "Healer", play "Yesterdaze Rain" und awn & awn. Steve was Hot, vibrant and alive with Fire. He was also VERY pretty! Scared Boys?

  • Steve Priest - what a f*ing rocking ONE OFF!

  • SUPER SUPER NO COMMENT************IN..

  • At their peak, nobody rocked harder and offended as many people as the MIGHTY Sweet. What a band!

  • @kittiesgomow33 amen to that !! - also see my wonderments at any dissers (under "akibubba1")
