The Prayer "Btar'o Dilokh" sung by St. Ephrem the Patriarchal Choir, Damascus, Syria

English translation:

The voice of our prayers is knocking at your door, you merciful God. Please dont deprive your believers the things they are asking from you.

I want you to teach me your ways Lord. You are my God; you may give me the crown of glory.

My Lord, make pity on me with your compassion, and preserve me from the devils that are trying to harm me.

  • shlomo lokhun, suryoye! i musiqa shafirtho. excuse my not so good syriac, but anyways, this hymn is beautiful, is the buzuq actually a keyboard (korg pa800) or other? sounds good too. may u- Mashi7o bless the world and may the arameans/assyrians have their u7dono sharyo in turabdin and iraq.

  • The melody is awesome! May God let happen justice to the Aramaeans as he did for the Jews in 1948! They need homelands under own souvereignity!

  • Magnificent conjuncts we ask for will be possible to overlap the text in aramaico. Very grateful congratulations and for the devotion in the maintenance of the traditions of the church since its foundation although the accidents in the passage of the life, alive for who love to the son of God Jesus Christ and follow in front.
