This is a demo of my advanced gesture script for wii-mote controlling windows media player 11 on my Dell XPS M1710.

Full Article (ITA) here: http://notebookitalia.it/tutorial-nintendo-wiimote-su-pc.-parte-i.-windows.html

The script takes into account advanced gestures using accelerometer data, so holding the rear B button, you can switch track by simply rolling it left/right.
Volume can be adjusted holding the same B button and pitching up and down.
The A button is Play/Pause, while home button switch mute on/off.

  • see leds are switching on @ 1:09

The script I wrote turn leds off by default.

Please read description and comments below

  • ohh. well how does it work?

  • It uses the program GlovePIE, where you can create scripts to react wii-mote (or other peripherals) gestures.

In this case, blue leds switch on only when I adjust the volume UP (rightmost leds) and volume DOWN (leftmost leds).

  • see at 1:09... The script itself controls the leds, by default I set 'em OFF. they switch on when I adjust the volume UP (rightmost leds) and volume DOWN (leftmost leds).
