How long did you keep the pump? I've heard people rarely go off it once they've gotten used to it. I wanted one and my endocrinologist was reluctant for me to get it but we now see my A1C is going down with it. Do you think she'd have me go back to shots if I could keep it within normal range?

@antybobanty Im still on it and my son is 9months old now. I highly doubt theyd take you off it because it really does help to control your levels so much better. She may have thought you wouldnt take your sugars often enough and end up in a hypoglycemic episode, that was a small concern of my dr.s too. Glad you got on one though, how do you like it? :)

good information :) im type 1 diabetic as well and my a1c is horrible and im also ttc....i dont like change either but the pump doesnt sound all that bad thank you
