Make no mistake, BioBricks are dense, rectangular and homogenious. They do not accordion apart into less dense fuel that can burn up too quickly and release too much heat at once. Round shapes have lots of airflow between them, also leading to a faster burn - plus they can roll - like out of the stove onto the floor....

Unadillawood is made in a mechanical press in thin layers. The round logs produced accordion apart along the layers. BioBricks(R) are made individually out of a charge of sawdust. This means they hold together for a longer uniform burn. Plus, BioBricks are the perfect shape and size. The bricks can be stacked tight together, providing the perfect ballence between fuel volume and fuel surface area - and that makes for really long burns!
