@maxx3442 Yep, Chris is from Sarasota Fla. He's been in the Outlaws for years . He lives up in the hills ouside of Nashville now.

how do you tune your bedpan dobro?

I'm not sure how Chris tuned it. He stated that he had it in an open D tuning, but not sure if it was, or how. I have tuned them top string down AEAE and GDGD, but there's all kinds of tunings.
I use 12,16,24 and 32 ga strings.

I actually build CGBs and have been using an old bed pan as my dog's water dish for a year now
I can't believe I built one from my old army mess kit but never saw on in the bedpan

If you can find a world war 1 bedpan use it to build a guitar. The metal is awesome. the problem is, most were melted down during world war 2 to build planes and other military equipment. Try to find a bedpan that doesn't have the enamel baked on it. They sound the best.
