Sumeet Nagdev -- A dreamer, a visionary, an abstract personality.

Having a discussion with life at an early age made this young soul
realize his importance in the world of movement. He never planned
anything, as he believes that the plan is already there, we just need
to explore and actualize it. Founder & Artistic Director of
Expressions Modern Dance Company believes in discovering movement with
time as he strongly believes - Time is Growth.

Sumeet has discovered his movement prowess through various guides such
as Mahesh Mehbubani (Modern Dance), Sandeep Sri (Folk fused with
Bharat Natyam) Oscar Unger (Classical Jazz), Chin Huat & Tan How Choon
(Contemporary Dance, Singapore), Tripura Kashyap (Creative Dance &
Dance Therapy), Veronica Balsara & Peter Farell (Ballet), has also
done intensive training in Martha Graham Contemporary Dance School in
New York & was recently an International Choreographer in Residence at
American Dance Festival in North Carolina, USA.

A defined step closer to living his dream was with the establishment
and today the success of EXPRESSIONS Modern Dance Company (EMDC) &.
Being the Founder of the organization which inaugurated on the 26th of
April, 2007 at Dadar, Mumbai, Sumeet affirms that the company dances
with truth and at the academy the purity of movement is synced with
teaching. Sumeet & Expressions Modern Dance Company members perform
and create various repertoires and choreographies and perform for
various shows in India and around the Globe. Whereas the Company also
runs "School of Performing Arts" and all members pass on the bliss of
movement and invite students to learn and explore more about
themselves through dance & movement.
