does this one fuck up like the first one does? or do i have to install a patch?

first game gave me about 4 days of gameplay and randomly started crashing... in the end i was so pissed i threw the game out because i declared it was wasting my time and rising my hopes :( one of the best games i played but like always jowood fucks it up.

So... does this game crash randomly or have horird glitches?

And i couldn;t load a save game.

AARGH!!! It looks good but I have the Guild 2 Renaissance and it won't let me load saved games and randomly crashes no matter what patch I upload. I gave up on playing it cause like someone said, it's like wasting your time. FTW? Great potential franchise but the bugs and lack of real fixes keep it from prospering.

Well, the game has a neat concept - and the community is good - though the implementation of the these concepts is lacking - this game could have been VERY good - but its too buggy, not optimized, and even though it tries to be as sandbox as possible, the choices that you can make in this game ARE VERY limited.

In all honesty, I tried to like this game - I really really did. I even went out and bought the pirates expansion as well as the Renaissance expansion...ugh. Multi-player never worked for me, the game ran extraordinarily slow on my monster Q9650 ~3.0GHz quad core with 6GB DDR2 RAM and NVIDIA GTX 260 video card...I was lucky to get 30FPS in the middle of the market in a large town - the controls were clunky and unresponsive, not to mention they were unintuitive...now for the good-...
