thats not even a surprise leap. a pas de bourree to the back doesn't make it a surprise. the point is to change direction while you develope in the air not before you even leave the ground

If anyone was truly educated in dance they would realize that many dance steps have different names and some evolve overtime. So, just accept the world for what it is and educate yourself before you go judging anyone's decision to call something a "surprise leap" or a "vertical." You only make yourself sound weak and negative. The arts are suppose to be inclusive and educational. Turn your head from that and you are nothing more then the ego you present to the world. Thanks
