nice plane! looks suspiciously much like rcpowers f-22!

i like the rcp f22, i've built it. the only similarities are maybe that they are foamies, have t.v., and oh.... i used techno music as well, lol. the techno just seems to fit with the crazy thrust vectoring. the design is nothing like it in my opinion. its a simple profile design, has a bend in the wing to create an airfoil so it's not flat, and the shape is more like the 4th gen chinese jxx minus the canards with the main wing of the mig 144. they have very different flying characteristics.

where do you get your foam from and is it cheeper than depron
KFfly 2 years ago
For this particular plane, I used Fan Fold Foam I purchased at Lowes. It's soooooo much cheaper then depron. I had to spend 45 bux, but I still haven't used all 50 foot of the bundle I purchased 6 months ago. It's not as "nice" as depron. But if you're looking to get performance for cheap, and your not worried about looks, go for the fan fold foam.

Thanks boss! That was the name of the game when I did this one. Simple Simple Simple. I wanted something that if you totalled it trying crazy tricks, you can rebuild in a day. It's a great way for a newbie to get into thrust vectoring.
