Ruta, thank you so very much for writing this book, a book so long overdue. Many people in the world today have no idea what happened to our people and the struggles under Communism, seeing our countries almost wiped out and language disappearing as russification continued. How the poor people who were shipped off to the Siberian camps survived, is something that will haunt me forever. I hope there is a chance for a movie. Ačiū labai! Vislielākais paldies!
