I never said people were born gay or straight. I said it was an innate characteristic. That MIGHT mean people are born with their sexual orientation, or it might mean that it naturally develops later, but it is still innate. It is clearly not a choice.

That's ridiculous. A choice? Straight people simply do not and cannot feel physical and romantic attraction to the same sex. They only feel those things toward the opposite sex.
