  • i see the cold air makes 20hp and the short ram just 7, according to that test. im too lazy to remove the damn bumper. should i just get the SR?

  • its much easier with the sr because you dont have to cut fender liners, take off bumper etc...Im actually selling this intake because i sold the car...60 shipped, im on clubrsx if you need any vouches on my end. thanks

  • i have a 2004 Base RX and im debating on either an AEM V2 intake or this injen one. Any suggestions?

  • well Im not sure if the v2 is a Short ram. If it is, there really is no differences between SRI. I would tell you to get a Cold air if I were you, youll def notice some gains. This SRI will give you considerable amount of torque and quick throttle, but will still suck in hot air as it sits right next to engine/header etc. If you dont live in an area where it rains or snows much you should def get a cold air intake, both injen and aem make them. hope that helps

  • 20 HP my ass! It might "Claim" but it'll never get you 20 by itself.

  • @brokenBLINKer V2 is consider a a non-short ram. Because it's a Cold air intake. Short ram suck up the engine heat. If you go to AEM site they dont really tell you if it's a short ram or not but you can tell by the pictures and cold intake it said.

  • @dannybo1 Of course the company won't tell you its really 10whp or so

  • @kichy1998 lol 20 hp

  • @kichy1998 SR is better if you want deeper sounds too :)

  • @brokenBLINKer not if you buy the optional water box

  • whats up with all the faggoty 1 page comments no one reads?

  • @footballmania132 Yeah he didn't answer my last question either, but right now I'm not tuned and with my aftercooler I'm probably right at 300whp and once I get a good tune I should be at around 330-340whp. If your car is daily driven I would deff. go with sc over turbo, the vortech is a good sc for your car. You'll probably make close to 400whp give or take a little!

  • @kaden07ful

Yeah for sure. I wonder why he never replied to my last post? Such a waste of life. Some people should have been aborted. Btw.. How much whp is your s/c RSX making? I own a G35 coupe and am planning on going with a Vortech this coming summer. I know it's two different cars/setups but what are your personal impressions?

  • @footballmania132 dude the guy danielsalsa is such a dumbass he was arguing with me about my supercharged rsx and said the 06 makes 210 even after i showed him a motortrend article showing only the 05 made 210 and the 06 only makes 210.
