@Mret1 his student puts emg's in a jaguar. i think its a good idea, emg's are really good for distortion but they break up easily on clean. the zakk wylde signature emg's are REALLY nice. i have them in my Dime Black Bolt, and my Les paul. emg makes a good single coil pickup, once again for the kind of music you play.

i agree that emgs are awesome pick ups and get some of the best sound but the 9volt battery ruins it id rather have a set of inactive seymour duncans but im not hating on emgs i love the sound

@Red93100 he used to be quite amazing at what he did, but i will say that now hes not that great. he thinks hes on top of the world. and he is. he can do whatever the hell he wants to and nobody will tell him otherwise because hes the considers himself "the emperor" as he once said, "the emperor has spoken, now shut the F*ck up". i think once dime died he lost it. look at his pride and glory stuff and also book of shadows. thats good shit

I LOVE Zakk wylde, but he seriously needs to stop thinking with his balls and use his brains a bit more to realize he's acting like an illiterate redneck and needs to learn about music theory before he gets old and finds out about all that he could have done instead of those chromatic wankings...

@Nickhead87 Same with me. FIrst time I actually tried an EMG equipped guitar it just sounded....right. Punchy, defined, tight and clear.
