Pokemon Platinum Max Happiness "Trainer"

Maxing pokemon happiness while you do other stuff! =P
Fly to Floaroma. Go into Route 205, get on the bridge, surf to the left part of the water - behind the Valley Windworks. Keep surfing north. Enter Fuego Ironworks and find the teleporter in the video. Then clamp the down button and B button and you can just go do other stuff! Equip soothe bell to increase happiness faster.

Happiness change per 256 steps:
Normal: +1
With Soothe Bell: +2
With Luxury Ball: +2
With Soothe Bell and Luxury Ball: +3

Happiness goes from 0 - 255. 220 or more is the point at which Pokemon who evolve with happiness will evolve, assuming time conditions are set for those Pokemon who need them (ie Budew's day or Chingling's night.) There are many things that can raise or decrease happiness.

There are two soothe bells in pokemon platinum.

The first soothe bell is in Eterna Forest. Right before you leave the place, the trainer who is accompanying you will give you the bell before leaving.

The second bell can be found in the second room from the left in the Pokemon Mansion. Talk to the maid in the room and she'll give you the bell.
