Prime Minister General Thein Sein received Chairman of U.S. Senate Sub-Committee on East Asia & Pacific Affairs Senator Mr. Jim Webb and members who are currently in Nay Pyi Taw at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs U Nyan Win, at the Prime Minister's Office on Friday. Also present on the occasion were Minister for Science and Technology U Thaung, Minister for Foreign Affairs U Nyan Win, Minister for Information Brig-Gen Kyaw Hsan, Minister for Culture Maj-Gen Khin Aung Myint, Deputy Minister for National Planning and Economic Development Col. Thurein Zaw, Director-General at the Government's Office Col. Thant Shin, Director-General of the Protocol Department U Kyaw Kyaw as well as the Charge' d' affaires ad interim of U.S. Embassy Mr. Larry M. Dinger.

Chairman of U.S. Senate Sub-Committee on East Asia & Pacific Affairs Senator Mr. Jim Webb and wife Mrs. Hong Le Webb arrived at Nay Pyi Taw by air on Friday. They were welcomed by Minister for Foreign Affairs U Nyan Win and wife and officials concerned as well as Charge' d'Affaires ad interim of US Embassy Mr. Larry M. Dinger, Military Attache' Colonel Brey R. Sloan and officials at Nay Pyi Taw Airport. ********************************* The visiting Chairman of U.S. Senate Sub-Committee on East Asia & Pacific Affairs Senator Mr. Jim Webb met the State Constitution Drafting Commission at the commission office in Nay Pyi Taw, on Friday. Present at the meeting were Chairman of State Constitution Drafting Commission U Aung Toe, Vice-Chairman U Aye Maung and Commission members U Thaung Nyunt and Dr. Tun Shin as well as the U.S. Senator's wife and members.
