Ron Paul on Evolution

We can't just pick on Huckabee anymore. Ron Paul demonstrates the same misunderstanding of the word "theory" (in the context of science) that many others do, and he seems to associate belief in evolution with nonbelief in a god (as evidenced by the fact that he sought to reaffirm his belief in a creator when asked about his belief regarding evolution).

@ForumPhagocite no, what people are really confused about is that evolution is at its best a model for which evidence is framed in order to understand the origin of life. Creation is yet another model. There are many theories and hypothesis's involved which each model, but neither is in themselves an individual theory or hypothesis.

@futuredp theory is a theory (same in science as in anything else)... it is a way of organizing discoveries and fitting them into a model as a possible explanation of what happened. because there is no way to prove it without a shadow of a doubt (we haven't really found the so-called missing links that concretely solidify changes in species) it is all just a big educated guess.
