@hopee01 Katie never even got involved with Sony, she called herself Katie Vogel as a stage name, but she was forced 2 call herself Katie Waissel 4 the X Factor. She never made it b4 X Factor, as no1 had picked her up yet. get ur fucking facts right hater.

@ zingoid.... she didnt enter under a false name or nythin like that... vogel was her grandfathers name nd she loved him alot but wen he died her grandmother kinda said i welcome u as a vogel kinda thing so as her stage name she used vogel but waissel is her birth name. look at green eyed world videos on utube to c the real katie vogel / waissel nd how she acts in real life. she's a lovely person but xfactor jst didnt show it!:) xxx

He was in top100 of Amazon UK during all X-Factor. Good deal (for Matt's wallet).
He released two albums in two bands before X-Factor.

many of the contestants on x factor have already done stuff - gamu included to the people still going on about that - x factor could not have kept her in due to the residency problems - however gamu had sung on BBC and headed huge professional gospel choirs etc - people use this as a platform to get on further - most are not just off the street as it were

It's not because she has experience, it's because they are marketing her like she's really a receptionist, when in fact she is connected to the same company that employs Simon Cowell: Sony BMG. She's a plant and a fake and it damages the show's credibility. Given the poor quality of her auditions she should not be advancing to the live shows and I feel bad for Gamu, Keri, and TreyC who actually performed well and got the shaft.
