PUNKCAST1762 Dick Russell, co-author with Jesse Ventura of 'American Conspiracies' reads from and discusses the book at First Tuesdays, McNally Jackson NYC - Jun 15 2010
@anandared Bugliosi is a deranged asshole and his book is a joke. Okay a good door stopper and can be used as a small step ladder, too or if you're dumb enough to buy several of them and soak them in gasolene they are good for keeping the barbecue going for a few hours. Otherwise, it's unreadable pap.
It is not true that Lamar Waldron discovered the Northwood Documents as the man claims at the end of his talk. The Northwood Documents were released to the public by The Assassinations Record Review board on November 18, 1997 and they were published online completely by the National Security Archive on April 30, 2001.
Waldren's book is mentioned here strictly to promote he mob did it theory and point direction away from the other things being discussed such as the CIA
By all means lets set that up Tsnore ... Ist debate should be Vincent Bugliosi vs James DiEugenio where they can address the many inconsistencies in Bugliosi's book .
Someone needs to get some high-quality investigative journalists and serious scholars together to debate these people promoting conspiracies. Vincent Bugliosi, Alexander Cockburn, and Russ Baker could be brought together with a few JFK historians and that would make for a better dialogue on these historical matters.
