Gates311: World's Fastest Evo X.

While out at Infineon Raceway this week doing some testing, we decided to try the car out on the strip. With a race coming later this week, I took it very easy on the launch, but then ripped it once I was off the line.

The result? 11.2 at 137.78mph!!!

A breakdown of the slip:

60' - 2.332
330' - 5.333
1/8 - 7.658
MPH - 106.4
1000' - 9.628
1/4 - 11.263
MPH - 137.78

The previous record was a 10.17 at 135.9, coincidentally by another AMS 900x package powered car. No tweaks to my Road Course tune, we just ran it as is and it spanked! The car will be setup FOR drag racing and run again later this year, in hopes to become the worlds Quickest AND Fastest Evo X.

I know it was a weak launch, that was intended! I had a race the next day and as lame as it sounds I didn't wanna f up the car. Real drag race results will be posted this April!! Hopefully have a new world record for you all....
