I agree with you 100%. The whole 'hacker'-genre is like the western-genre ... without the hats. Poor lonesome hacker against the dishonest computer rancher. The whole story is not very innovative (for lack of a better word) but still the movie takes you places. It's well made and entertaining. What more do you want?

Since Tom Hanks stopped being so popular, Tim Robbins is out of a job as the cheap Tom Hanks. Poor git.

@culwin Hahaha I love that that's a thing now! This movie is a thriller, but it's not a horror... there is a difference! Tim Robbins isn't jumping out of corners and shit, scaring people and stabbing them with knives! It's suspense, but not scary. I don't own any movies that aren't Adam-safe!

@IDiedForYou1776 "It's actually really kind of a cool movie"-me! No seriously, I really like this movie, its memorable to me, and I bought it and decided to review it. I try to review stuff in a way that's honest, and not just full of nostalgia and bias, so when being objective, this movie isn't oscar worthy, wasn't beautiful, didn't seem to have some kind of overt style that made it epic, it was just a good movie! It's hard to recommend movies to such a diverse group of viewers sometimes!

Anything with Tim Robbins is good enough to watch. Also, thank you so much Adam for the reply to my message about uploading movie clips. I'm gonna try to work on that the next for few days, I'll probably come back to you with a question or two though.

@Capgungoesbang I agree, when I thought about reviewing this movie, I almost switched to Arlington Road.... but I went with my gut instead! Also, good luck with your videos!
