I wanted to make a video showing my new camera. I purchased the Nikon D60 three months ago and have been taking lots of pictures. I wanted a camera with 10 mega pixels and something that would last a couple of years without many extra upgrades. It has proven to be a very good camera for amateur photographers and is very easy to navigate. I do recommend reading the instruction booklet thoroughly before using the camera though. Enjoy the video!

so how cheap did you get it for? i got mine with everything you have plus a 3 year manufacturer warranty. both lenses all the hardware disks and manuals for a price i couldnt say no too.

learn to use manual setting. you can practice here in youtube. there are so many tutorials you can apply. learn it and you'll love it. i also have a d60. really great camera

i don't know, but if you check the sample photos of d3000 compared to the d60's photos wich you can find on the internet, it seems that d60 it's more sharp then the d3000... anyone has got this sensation?

I'm more of a Canon guy. Also, the volume on your vids is inconsistent. I watch one of your vids at regular volume, and the next one nearly blows up my speakers with the intro.

@zanuha I am aware of the volume issue. My earlier videos had problems but I have fixed that in all my newer videos.

Nikon D3000 VS D60

D3000 is a beginners camera. The D60 has a couple more settings and is a bit more complex when it comes to operation. If you sit down and concentrate you can figure both out but I think the D3000 would be a bit easier.
