This is a dual rotor generator using 24 magnets and 9 coils. The coils were casted in fibreglass resin. The drive shaft is 1 inch diameter and the blades 36 inches (Wind Grabber from Windy Nation Inc) The output at 200 rpm is 18.5 vdc and 13.25 amps. The volt to rpm ratio is 0.0925. • Worked on this video in Jamaica

  • Please do a video showing us exactly what to buy/build and how to put it together. Everyone deserves to have green and inexpensive power.

  • It's basically the Hugh Piggott design I see. ( scoraigwind co. uk. ) -Windgenkits com. has kits for this design as well. I'm gathering parts for building a similar model, but will be using the Crispito windmill blade design, made out of hardy flexible PVC sewage pipe, as seen for example on velacreations com. A weaker model can be made from just scrapped old harddrives, see for example greenpowerscience channel here. I wonder at what wind speed you get 1kw with that blade design?

  • It just looks so simple and clean.

  • what did you use for the bearings and shaft looks nice and slim

  • thats a pretty slim-line looking wind mill, but DAMN MAN! 7 min. of boring video, please add some commentary(TALK!) explain what you did Please!

  • 9 coils? please explain

  • too bad breeze doesn't blow in the part of Kingston that I am in.

    good job man
