Suddenly the screen on my 360 went green and sometimes red. This is a known and very well recorded fault with the 360, related to the 360 overheating and the GPU dying. If this happens to you, your 360 is knackered- try and get it repaired by reporting it as a RROD issue. If that fails and you are in the EU or UK sue the retailer if necessary under the Sale of Goods Act- it is a well documented manufacturing/ design fault and your 360 should reasonably last 5-6 years so you will be successful at court. Alternatively just wait and continue playing and it will likely RROD soon anyway.

  • this happened to me when i played mw3 and now there is no picture on the tv, it sais it cant connect. (there is no connection between the xbox and the tv i guess)

  • Good choice on the Orange Box.

  • @snakedeadly I can assure you that if this happens you're probably already screwed if the RAM on the GPU is fried, because if that's the case, you can clean out your whole Xbox 360 but it won't fix the issue and if it does, I can guarantee you that it won't take long before the problem comes back again. Trust me, I've had a few graphics cards failing on me in the past and if the memory modules are fried, you can't do anything but send it back for replacement...

  • Mine is just pink at the dasboard

  • I guess your Xbox is too dusty, I recommend that you put it in a clean safe place remove and dust or grime on the place your gona put it on and maby check your xbox and the place every week or do a quick check or clear the dust away daily, trust me I do alot of hard work everyday looking after my consols and PC and they are old but trust me that look new

  • @zouher2000 Lol when something strange happenes like darkness or strange scary noises or colours I just run..away

  • @imoddcodd Hmmm... you cannot remove the GPU yourself, it is soldered in. Maybe you mean the heatsink that cools the GPU.

  • @imoddcodd

Once you unscrew the xbox yourself you LOSE you warranty.

So I would not advice this.

  • Gordon Freeman does it.

  • get the slim
