I remember this song was popular in the summer 1984! All the girls in my neighborhood use to be singing this like crazy! Memories....It also went to #55 on R&B Charts! But I remember the song would always be remixed with Michael Jackson's version on the radio..(like a duet)..that made the song hotter!!!!

I remember back in the day after his response. The radio station use to mix the 2 2gether, man that was the ish. Her part when she said I have one hope 2 hear that you love me, you really love me....n his part came in girl I think I love ya. That mix was the ish.....WJLB 97.9 FM Detroit!!!!!!!

I have always loved this song by Kim Fields. I remember seeing her perform this song on American Bandstand and also on the Alan Thicke show back in 1984. I still have the 45 of this song. Thank you so much for posting it on you tube.
