Call of Duty 4 floating man glitch

Not very interesting or exciting, but just a random vid I took from the TV while playing COD4 on Veteran. When I shot a guy on a high roof he fell off and just laid there dead in mid-air! I used to be a games-tester, so I used to have to find glitches and bugs like this as my job. I know there are other glitches in this game, but this was just one I found while playing so I filmed it before I failed the mission and had to start-over.

I didn't fail because of the glitch, I think I just ran out of time 'cos youre meant to be chasing that guy. The 'floating man' falls from the roof when you shoot him, then just stops in the air and you can walk around him.

yer, im not saying anythings better, i have a ps3, but is 'xbow' owns ps3 so much, how come theres crappy glitches like this in it?

As 'AcAsHOo7' says above, this glitch is on PS3 too. It's makes no difference if it's on X-box or PS3, glitches are down to the programmers of the game, and whether the game testers find these glitches or not, so the programmers can remove them before game release. They can sometimes be corrected by on-line game updates. No console 'owns' the other though, different consoles are good for different reasons, depending on what features you prefer in a console.

I dunno, the fan is a bit loud in the X-box anyway, but sometimes when my PC boots-up it sounds like a loud grinding. I'd take it back and exchange it if I were you!

its probably just ur ps3 mine is fine it doesnt make loud grinding sounds.

I used to test games for Reflections, who made the 'Driver' games, and Stuntman etc. And I did the graphics and animations for games at a small local video-games developer, inc some testing. That was the life! Getting paid for a hobby!

no way man, i work in QA and I'm pretty sure that all bugs get found by testers in quality titles like COD4, its just this gen has so many more technical difficulties than any other, minor bugs like this get dropped all the time (I hate seeing 'closed-dropped' next to my bugs!) especially if they occur in later builds when the deadline is near.

Nice find tho! Did you spot the vanishing pillow? can only be seen at a certain distance

im not saying their bad, some are funny. But it just makes the game unrealistic.
