The Vox and Saw sound is a reminiscent of Jarre's Calypso album, the last piece on the album, the 40 minute Entende Costau piece, or something like that.

This is the first D50 demo I've listened to after watching loads of JD-800 videos and although I haven't the technical knowledge to explain why, this synth definitely sounds like it has the edge to my ears. Having said that, I'm hoping to buy the JD tomorrow. Think I might have to keep an eye out for one of these though.

I am curious. I have been playing the synth for 7 years now and I have been interested in the D-50 for a long time, its a magic instrument and the sounds are so electrifying to my ears! I live in Britain and I cannot find where I might be able to get a hold of one, can you help me? :') Matt
