I think, overall, most punks are pretty accepting, open-minded people. They don't give a fuck about someone being gay because it's something that doesn't matter. I think it's the hip hop community who would have something against this.

Pointing a finger at the hip hop community instead doesn't change the fact that many queer kids feel there is homophobia in the punk scene and don't feel comfortable or accepted in these spaces. There is homophobia in the punk scene, and it needs to be addressed.
