Secret of Evermore - (1/14) 100% speedrun in 2:04

This is a tool-assisted speedrun of Secret of Evermore, that aims for 100% completion in order to show everything the game has to offer, while still beating it as fast as possible. It also shows alot of speed tricks and rare glitches I discovered between 1995 and 1997 that allowed to shorten the completion time (which is only 2 hours and 4 minutes) even more - most noticeably the Atlas-glitch.

Conditions that had to be met for this 100% run:
- getting at least 1 of every item, ingredient, armor, etc.
- getting all alchemy formulas / spells
- defeating all bosses
- showing every sidequest / storyline

From the very beginning until the pre-Thraxx room in Bugmuck. Collecting many ingredients on the way in order to use alchemy formulas on the later bosses.

Man sieht doch ,dass das Video zu schnell läuft. etwa doppelt so schnell wie normal.

Das ist die normale Geschwindigkeit der NTSC Version die hier benutzt wurde, welche mit 60 Frames pro Sekunde läuft. Die deutsche PAL Version mit der du's womöglich vergleichst, läuft mit 50 fps, und ist deswegen etwas langsamer.

Up until Frame Advance when necessary. This is the slowest possible mode you can have in tool-assisted conditions, and it lets you control the moves during every single frame (smallest interval you can have in a game) for maximal precision.

Such a good game. I played and beat this long before I even tried Secret of Mana, so this one always ranks higher than Mana for me (SoM is still great, don't get me wrong)

This plus SoM, Chrono Trigger, Earthbound and Mario RPG were the pinnacle of SNES RPGs.

Anyone know how to activate the spells again? I havent played it ever since a young lad and cant remember how to activate spells. I go to alchemy but when i press B it just exits, i have tryed every button but is not working
