When the Liberal Express rolled into London Ontario's Covent Garden Market Michael Ignatieff highlighted the differences between the Liberal Party & Harper's Conservatives: "We are a reality based party. We believe that facts, reality, and knowledge are better than ideology and dogmatism."
When he talks like this, I want to vote for the Libs. This is exactly the kind of government we need.

what about marijuana prohibition? The facts say Legalize. The facts say prohibition is not only failing, it is outrageously counterproductive. You wanna connect with Canadians? You wanna be a fact-based-party? You want the youth vote to come out in droves? Then look at the 2002 Senate Committee Report on Drugs, examine the facts, and tell the people that you will follow the facts and regulate marijuana right out of the hands of the gangsters that the Harperistas seem so keen to subsidize.
