I couldn't make Live Aid, but I made it to Knebworth. From the start (Tears For Fears in the rain) to the end (Pink Floyd in the rain) it was an awesome day. The plastic bottle fight halfway through, Cliff Richard getting annoyed when Hank Marvin got a bigger cheer than he did, Page and Plant doing 'Rock And Roll', McCartney winding up the crowd with a music hall song before 'Hey Jude', the crowd at Stevenage railway station winding up the police. Brilliant memories. And no Bono!
