Nice truck and the exhaust sounds great. I like the tone a corsa puts out with a gm engine. I don't like how pricey Corsa systems are. I agree with you about the other brands. I kind of regret putting a blowmaster 50 series on my sierra - not loud enough and it does drone, although it's not unbearable. If i do swap the muffler out, i would probably go with the corsa.

I only found one video of a flowmaster 70 series with a similar truck and motor size...To me they did not sound alike what so ever but it may be due to the quality of the camera. There MAY be a chance that they sound similar but like I've said, I know many people with flowmaster who experience LOTS of drone and that is something I didn't want to deal with and now I don't have to worry about dealing with it.

@ika6667 I was originally going to go with a maganflow catback but my friend got it for his 6.0L and I swear I need ear plugs for all the drone. another buddy threw flowmasters into his chevy blazer and i can feel the drone standing next to it let alone being inside it. Another friend HAD an avalanche with the corsa touring exhaust After sitting in those vehicles and being able to pin point true drone the choice was clear for me. every truck wants to be loud HERE, I wanted to stand out a little

@darknesstl Actually, your corsa can be compared to flowmaster's 70 series, pretty close in sound.

@darknesstl Yeah I did the same, I got a 5.2L with a custom exhaust all the way from the headers to the back. Of course, its a matter of personal choice. I started out with Flowmaster 50 SUV, and it sounds really nice, no drone or rice can fart like noise. I now have the 40 series because the 50 was not loud enough for me. I also use Magnaflow high flow cat, but I wouldn't use the mufflers. My friend has a glass pack on his 5.2, and I think it sounds nice as well. Yours sounds nice, too nice...

@ika6667 I found that corsa, while this is the "sport" exhaust and less refined than the Corsa "touring" exhaust. it was still much more refined/fine tuned than the mess of pipes slapped together like magnaflow or just a tin muffler like flowmaster. I've literally searched every exhaust from glass packs to straight pipes and everything in between. I also like Corsa's no drone because I do talk to my passengers.. I can barely hear the radio in my friends trucks who have flowmaster or magnaflow

@ika6667 I respect your opinion because that's what it is, YOUR opinion. Mine is that this sounds better than flowmaster, magnaflow, and borla. I've gone on all the sites and listen to all the sound clips, came here to youtube and watched/listened to all different kinds of exhausts. Here's my conclusion... There are Loud Exhausts and Exhausts that sound good. The three were all loud but they sounded baffled, rattled, and droned out like a bigger version of a ricer fart can exhaust...

Sounds good, but not as good as a flowmaster or a borla thats for sure.

agreed coras flowmasster and magnaflow all sound great its just preference and how load you want it.
