Just because this band's purpose is to promote Fringe, doesn't mean anything bad. It's a funny way to promote the show too, because no one will have heard of Violet Sedan Chair unless they've watched Fringe, or unless you say to your friends, "Hey, have you heard of this new band? They're called Violet Sedan Chair. Look them up, they're totez cool beans!"

but what I mean is that if someone can get as "hooked" on something that´s just a promotion we might also be as vulnerable to other kinds of "promotions"...
