Xbox 360 - Open tray error - NEED HELP!!

I need tips for fixing this dam thing!! I have try all the tricks like cleanin the laser with alcohol, turning the screw on the back of the laser, making sure the laser starts in the right place and even tappin on the the dam thing! Should i just get a new xbox??

@567Media really thats all it took? but i dont think thats the issue 4 mine cuz as u seen it still spins the disc as normal but the laser goes up like a inch every time it attempts 2 make a read, but ill try that trick and hopefully thatll solve my problem. thanx 4 the advise.

just find a friend whose xbox 360 has the rrod then ask him if he could sell you another disk drive

I just beat the shit out of it and eventually it starts working........weird.

yea man i have the same problem i just said fuck it and bought a new one.

but if your going to buy a new one make sure you find out what brand it is first.

yea im sick of microsofts shitty products my disk drive started doing this 5 days after my warrenty was up fuck my life ha good luck man
