Look lad , I am a newby and this helped , i didn't need to learn how to hold the drumsticks , but trust me man , there are some rtd's that need it..

ay mate if ya really wanna learn to play the drums properly you also need to know the techniques...man it pisses me off to see "good" drummers just "grabbing" a pair of sticks and just hit the drum...
