@spearrbk you are right, but ct has variety

@Perisher21 lol, we all miss zohar
-
so he is...Zohar?
-
@completebastard thats why its good.

By the way, not all of Chrono Trigger's work is from Mitsuda. Silent Night most notably, and a few others are composed by Uematsu.
-
I think Nobuo Uematsu is the better composer, but that's just an opinion. The fact is both are very talented to say the least. To think Uematsu has absolutely nothing on Mitsuda is just fanboyism/ignorance. If one is better than the other, than it's arguable. There is no clear better.

I love CT, but his best work is on Chrono Cross.

@Elezeid no he wasn't , he was working under Uematsu's orders when they where developing CT, Mitsuda wanted to take control of the whole thing and it was granted that honor, Square initialily wanted to have Uematsu composing the music, unfortunately Mitsuda worked so hard and for so long that he could not complete his track list , that's where Uematsu enter just to finish what mitsuda started AND with mitsuda's direction.
Best Japanese composer.

Exactly Nobuo Uematsu has nothing on Mitsuda.Uematsu's music has a way of fleshing out the fantasy worlds of the games he composes for,that's great and all, but Mitsuda's music skips all that useless rubbish and cuts directly to the core of your soul.
