  • Don, No acid on the pea ground usually. Those fields were some of the lighter soil that has the texture of flour.

    I hate the pickett head. It is too rough on a lot of the varieties of peas and beans. Right between the rake teeth and auger are 2 transition rollers that allow material to fall through. Some bean types are real bad having the pod break free from the vine or shelling open. A rakeup from MacDon is 10 times the pickup

  • Brian do you spray acid on the pea soil too? The crust sure looks like it breaks up easy. I wonder if I can use one of those pickups for grass windrows. Thanks.
