it's crazy how quickly some of the people nader has sacrificed his life to fight for turned around to stab him in the back. those obamaites who refused to see all the signs that obama was just another corrupt, status quo politician who had nothing to offer but manipulative political theatre while serving the powers that be should be so ashamed now of what they accomplished. i wonder if they figured out yet that if you don't vote for people who actually represent you, you won't get represented!

Here we are over two years since Obama's inauguration and Ralph Nader's prophesy rings true with an uncanny accuracy. We "are very disappointed in Barack Obama". As I have been saying for sometime now, Obama should run on the Republican ticket in 2012. The Democrats can certainly scrape up a new phoney liberal to promise us the magic apple of social justice. American Democracy is but an illusion,and the people are not truly represented.

Between 1992 and 1996, the Commission on Presidential Debates changed its rules regarding how candidates could qualify to participate in the presidential debates. As Perot had previously done very well in debates, it was a decisive blow to the campaign when the Commission ruled that he could not participate on basis of somewhat vague criteria --- such as that a candidate was required to have already been endorsed by "a substantial number of major news organizations" (From Wikipedia).

yeah. the only way independent candidates & third parties can gain power is if people support them. if you keep supporting corrupt parties and candidates who continually betray you, that's what you'll get. all those obamaites who attacked nader and convnced themselves that obama was anything but a corrupt, status quo politician or had anything to offer but manipulative political theatre while serving the powers that be should be pretty ashamed now. they got what they paid for.
