I always thought it was "Beta" 58 not "Bee-ta" lol..sounds gay

My PG58 died years ago and I actually use it as my hammer now lol. Used it to help mount my acoustic panels lol.

great i dont need to buy a hammer if i get one of em.

I've found the "Bee-ta" 58 (as you call it) tends to feed back more than a standard SM58 because it has a little more gain and greater frequency response. Of course the gain can be dialed back on the mixer to compensate but if there is lots of monitor volume on stage I seem to have better luck with the SM58.

Thanks for great trip through very interesting information! I love it!

I have a beta 58 and it seems to have lost sensitivity over the 3 years which I have owned it, which in my opinion is not very long. Has anyone got any ideas as to what might be wrong with it? I have been keeping it in my garage which is subject to very changing temperatures, could this be a cause? Has anyone had this problem before/got a fix for it?

...excelente revision! muy buena =) gracias. Has quitado muchas dudas. gracias
This is not a good demonstration.
1. You should have someone actually "Singing"
2. You should have a female too.
3. There should be different "people with different voices" using the mics.

PG58 and SM58 are $50 different, only because the sm58 will last you FOREVER and yeah, a little more quality.
